We are seeking a qualified and motivated Structural Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft structures while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and technical inspections of aircraft structures to identify damage or defects.
- Conduct structural repairs, including riveting, fitting, and assembling parts.
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, diagrams, and maintenance manuals to carry out required tasks.
- Use specialized tools and equipment (e.g., measuring tools, cutting machines) with precision and safety.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to determine optimal repair solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to quality standards, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
- Participate in preventive maintenance activities to ensure long-term structural performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in aircraft maintenance or aeronautical structures, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong skills in reading technical plans and using precision tools.
- Knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., Transport Canada, FAA, EASA).
- Ability to work in a demanding environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Specific certifications or accreditations (an asset).
